Ambassador Greer to Travel to New York
WASHINGTON – On Sunday, September 20, United States Trade Representative Ambassador Jamieson Greer will join Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent in New York to meet with Vice Premier He Lifeng of the People’s Republic of China ahead of the U.S.-China Summit in Washington, DC.
“Building on the strong relationship between President Trump and President Xi, the United States and China are deepening their engagement to facilitate mutually beneficial trade between the two largest economies in the world,” said Ambassador Greer. “The Trump Administration will continue to pursue balanced trade with China by monitoring the implementation of recent commitments, optimizing trade in non-sensitive goods, and improving market access for American farmers, manufacturers, and workers.”
